On today's episode of Gin and Cake, we start a brand new season by indulging our curiosity about GBBO's move to Channel 4. We're going to review the first non-BBC version of the show. How does it hold up? Who are these people? Where are our drinks?

You can find this season on Netflix as "Season 5," which is a numbering we'll try to explain. Probably not very effectively.

Along the way, we catch up with a few bits and bobs that happened during our break, laud the wonder of museums, give a gin reccy, and mention the science-based delights of tiny Japanese food.

So, grab a delicious beverage, flip on the Netflix, and enjoy Episode 35. It's Gin and Cake time!
